Encouraging You To Live His Way, Not the Hollow Way

Hello, Friend!

     I'm a lot like you.  I married my college sweetheart.  We have 3 grown children (a son, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law) that to this day, we are still awed that God entrusted into our care. I'm a recent empty nester, but prior to that, I was a baseball mom, swim mom, PTA Mom, Room Mom, Sunday School Teacher, taxi driver, home chef, math tutor, proof reader  -  wearing all those same hats that you are, while working through mountains and mountains of never-ending laundry.   I began my adult life as an elementary teacher, then worked as a stay-home mom for about 15 years, and THEN ... God called me into Children's Ministry 10 years ago.  I was scared and reluctant to accept that call, but once I surrendered to His plan, I haven't looked back.  Oh!  And we can't forget the fun stuff - I love beaches, sunsets, attempting to snow ski, reading, traveling, AND chips & queso!  

      Along the way, God has revealed Himself to me, just as He does you, in some special ways.  Don't you love those sacred glimpses that God shares with us through His Word, His creation, other people, our children, and a thousand other ways?  This blog is just me capturing some of those sacred glimpses in words that  He's allowed me to see. I'd love for you to take a peek.  For aren't we all just trying to live His way, because otherwise the way tends to be hollow?
